Janwaar Castle is a learning camp with a skatepark at its core. It's a social experiment and the goal is to transform the village of Janwaar into a wealthier and more prosperous place.

Janwaar Castle Library Project

Janwaar Castle is on its way to create a library for its kids. We have started a campaign called “Janwaar Castle Library Project” to crowdfund 3 kits of Pratham books in one month.

With more than one year since its start, Janwaar kids have grown exponentially. At a tender age of 12, most of the kids have become expert freestyle skateboarders. Their skateboard has become an extension of their body. And all this, without even any formal training!

Since the last 5 months, Janwaar castle has spread out of the skatepark, spreading its wings to the whole village. The Bamboo House has become the place where kids come to learn more than skateboarding. With resources donated to us by friends of Janwaar, kids can now draw, paint and model. They have never been more excited about learning than ever before. They rarely miss school and push themselves to learn harder every day.

All we need now are books. These kids are hungry to learn. With Pratham books, these kids not only learn lessons, they are also made to think, feel and understand the deeper meaning hidden under it.

With a good library, we can redirect their focus to read and write.
